Took a leap, and ended up here.

My name is Mark and below is a brief outline of my experience in this field, but by no means does it cover all that I have learnt within my life, or the approach I use to helping people move forward with their lives.

Any questions please use the contact form on the side of each page, and it will come directly to me.

Experience

In the last 15 years I have worked with all age groups, in a variety of settings. My background is the care sector, where I have worked with vulnerable adults and young people within care homes, homeless hostels and their own homes. This has encompassed support with emotional and practical issues people have been facing in their lives, empowering them to become independent and confident in changing their lives.

I work in a way that empowers my clients to be pro-active in finding their own solutions, whilst being the person they can depend on to be an honest, supportive facilitator of their changes.

I ran my counselling business from an office for five years, but it had been a dream of mine for a decade to bring it outside of an office environment. So after going travelling for a year to see other cultures, and experience all I could about other people I decided to follow my beliefs.

12 months later my practice is well established, and every client I have seen has benefitted from the therapy being outside. It has enabled my clients to see things a lot simpler, and the mindfulness that I teach helps to engage with the little things in life. It helps to form a clarity surrounding their own situation, and enables a comfortable sensation around silence. Teaching a new way to be in control of your thoughts, and taking away the many pressures of being away from nature.

It has had a huge impact on all the topics below, and all my clients state feeling a inner peace they didn’t know existed. So even though it is against the more common way of attending therapy, it has proven results and benefits to the ones that are willing to embrace it.
